• You are planning to meet in person for the first time
• The conversation has moved toward money, gifts, or financial hardship
• Their story has small inconsistencies you cannot quite explain
• They avoid a video call with excuses that keep changing
• Something just feels slightly off, even if you cannot name why

Any one of these is a reasonable trigger on its own. If more than one applies, treat the check as necessary rather than optional.

Reading the result honestly

If all three passes go well \u2014 clean photo checks and a comfortable, natural video call \u2014 that is a solid basis to proceed with ordinary dating precautions: meet the first time in a public place, arrange your own transportation, and tell a friend your plans.
